It runs on a 400V high-voltage design, which keeps the current draw sensible while still packing in serious power. At 300mm long and 2500W, you get a lot of watt density in a small footprint. That means you can hit a focused zone with rapid temperature ramp-up. Just keep one thing in mind: this kind of concentrated power means your machine’s thermal management needs to be up to the job. What’s Inside: Built to Handle the Heat
The carbon filament runs hot—really hot—and that’s the point. It produces shortwave infrared that heats surfaces directly, not the air around them. The halogen cycle keeps the filament stable and helps the lamp last longer by reducing blackening over time. A quartz envelope with a reflective coating pushes more energy forward where you need it, while shielding the filament from airflow and contamination. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference out on the floor. And the R7s connector? It’s a two-end termination that’s straightforward to wire and holds alignment cleanly inside a reflector assembly. It’s meant to drop right into common fixtures, so you spend less time reworking things and more time running.
