It’s fast. Really fast. To make sure they don&amp;rsquo;t crack under that kind of sudden thermal stress, we use high-purity quartz glass.&#xA;And we didn&amp;rsquo;t skimp on the plugs. We use standard industrial connectors because a loose wire is a recipe for arcing and a burnt-out lamp. You want a connection that clicks into place and stays there.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;A Quick Heads-Up on Installation&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Swapping these is easy. Pull the old tube, plug in the new one, and you&amp;rsquo;re done. You don&amp;rsquo;t have to touch your control logic or reprogram a thing.&#xA;But, a word of advice: shortwave lamps put out some serious, concentrated heat. While that&amp;rsquo;s great for drying your ink in record time, it can be tough on your conveyor belts and gaskets over time.&#xA;Just make sure your exhaust fans are clean. If the ambient heat can&amp;rsquo;t escape the machine frame, it&amp;rsquo;ll eat away at the lamp&amp;rsquo;s electrodes. Keep the air moving, and these things will last you a long time.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
