If you’re running a KTK oval printer, you already know that the heating zone is where the magic happens. It’s the difference between a perfect cure and a production bottleneck. That’s why we built our 23x11mm twin tube IR lamps to be a simple, drop-in replacement. No fuss, no modifications—they just fit.
Why the “Twin Tube” Matters
Here is the thing about the twin tube setup: it basically doubles the filament surface area while staying inside that small 23x11mm frame. You get a lot more infrared energy without needing a bigger housing. We use high-purity quartz glass because it lets that short-wave radiation punch through the ink layer fast. Since you’re getting more wattage per inch than you would with a single tube, the lamps heat up quickly. It saves time. But a word of caution: that heat is concentrated. Keep an eye on your conveyor speed. If the belt crawls too slowly, you’re going to scorch your garments.
Built for the KTK Layout
We didn’t want you fighting with your equipment. We matched the electrical terminals and physical size exactly to the KTK factory layout. We also paid close attention to the voltage-to-wattage ratio so you don’t have to worry about tripping your power supplies. Industrial shops are rough. There’s vibration, heat, and constant cycling. To handle that, we used heavy-duty filaments and thicker quartz walls. These aren’t fragile pieces of glass; they’re built to take a beating.
Swapping Them Out
Installing these is a breeze. Since the specs are a 1:1 match, you can leave your mounting clips and wiring alone. Just pull the old tube out and slide the new one in. One quick tip: new lamps usually hit harder than the old, worn-out ones you’re replacing. You might find you need to dial back your temperature controllers a bit for the first few hours. Once you find that sweet spot, you’re good to go.
